Extra Large Sack Back Windsor Chair handmade by Colin Foxhall.
This chair is six inches (15cm) wider than a standard Windsor chair.
The Sack Back style of Windsor chair is very adaptable to larger sizes, and is extremely strong due to its design and the large number of interconnected components and joints. This example is made completely from English Ash wood. This design is very comfortable for continuous use.
This kind of chair can also be made higher or lower than standard. The sturdy arms and the position of the stretchers allow even the largest of people to rise easily from the seat.
