American style Sack Back Windsor Chair by Colin Foxhall.
This chair is handmade of Devon Ash components with an English Ash seat. The finish is antiqued stain, with shellac and wax.
The Sack Back style of chair is light in appearance and weight but extremely rubust due to the large number of interconnected components and joints. It can be made in a range of sizes, or even a two seater settee.
Note the range of colour tones. This finish gives a very warm look to the chair.
