Oval Ash dining table by Furgus Parsons
Oval dining table made in English Ash wood by Furgus Furgus Parsons. This table has what is known as "Olive Wood" colouring in the top, and the legs are turned to complement the turned legs of Colin Foxhall's Continuous Arm Windsor Chairs.
Olive wood colouring, which occurs sometimes in Ash, usually through the centre of the tree, looks in many ways like Olive wood. English Ash, although native to this country is a relative of the Olive tree.
This table and set of chairs was a collaboration between Furgus Parsons and Colin Foxhall, another member of the Bespoke Woodworkers group of specialists. The design, colouring and finishes were coordinated to make a truly stunning dining suite for a modern house near High Wycombe .
